What you need for this school year | Back to School 2018-2019
Yes, it is now Back to School season... It's pretty sad because... Well... School is pretty sad.
Fortunately, youtubers and bloggers help making it seem a little less sad and a lot more saturated!
We're going to do Back to School posts, don't get us wrong, but we're going to be as honest as possible in every one of them.
This one is about what you need to have for this school year ASIDE from the supplies that you are asked to have for your classes. Enjoy!
Keep a survival kit:
Find a small pencil case that can easily fit in your backpack and fill it with:
A pair of underwear;
Your epipen (if you have one);
You can put whatever you think you might need in case of emergency (maybe not an actual emergency like a fire).
Have an extra notebook:
The thing that saved me the most last year was my extra notebook. I could use it whenever I
needed a piece of paper (or someone else);
wanted to doodle;
had to do lists to make;
forgot the notebook(s) I normally used.
Have a nice black pen:
When I take notes, I love using tons of colors, but it's important not to use too much (or your notes could be impossible to understand). I suggest finding a black pen that you feel comfortable using and that you like.
Keep extra things in your locker:
There'll be moment in the school year where your head gets stuck in the could for awhile and you forget something important. It could be your pencil case, a jacket on a cold day or your gym clothes. These things don't take much place if you fold and place them correctly in your locker.
Have a bullet journal or a planner
I always forget everything so I write everything I can in my bullet journal. Writting things helps me remember them and writting things in my bullet journal (which I look at all the time) helps me even more. If you want to know more about bullet journals, you can go on Pinterest because there are many Pins about them that might help you.
Wear comfortable shoes
When you're in school, I don't think you should be focusing on how much your feet hurt so find shoes that you like and that you feel comfortable in.
Have a study zone (but don't be afraid to switch it up once in awhile)
I feel like I work better when I'm at my desk so for me it's important that I have one. At my desk, I keep papers, notebooks, pens, pencils, highlighters and everything else I might need to study or do my homeworks. Some people don't like working at the same place and/or get tired of their study zone and that's totally normal. If that ever happens to you, just find another quiet place to do your school work, like a library, or, let's be honest your bed.
Finaly, all you need is motivation that you will lose within the first day of school.
We hope this post helped you get ready for back to school because we know how hard it is to go back.
We wrote a few Back to School posts last year so you can go check them out.
